After moving to the cities I can appreciate specialization because the larger talent pool justifies it. However after living in a small, rural town way out in the boondocks for quite some time, I found that being the jack of all trades was the most handy skill you could have. I vote for self sufficiency.
ayyyyy
I must admit I earn my money in the way I can and pay experts to do their own thing but sometimes wonder if I could have taken more care doing it myself.
Yknow what? Im just switching to Gripen NGs.
What's that?
A fighter jet.
Good poll although it ended 50/50 16 voted
POLL: (idea) Who would you vote for in the British General Election?
Me being an American, I'd need a little background on the candidates.
Seems there's an April the first mini game either it's gone over my head or it's a non event this year I'll look on a bigger screen later.
So basically, you have the Conservatives (in power, like the Republicans) and Labour (like the Democrats, but maybe research Ed Miliband). Then you have the Liberal Democrats (civil-rights based party, 23% of the vote), UKIP (anti-immigration, anti-EU), the Greens (eco friendly party, supports human rights for animals, believes in the legalisation of being a member of a terrorist group), SNP (left-wing, wants independence for Scotland) and Plaid Cymru (independence for Wales). There's also the especially minor parties such as BNP (proudly racist) or Respect (Muslim extremist and anti-Semitic party).
I am extremely honoured to be the one to have the opportunity to introduce myself, the growing but potentially influential nation of Varying randomisity, into what I view as a great and impressive region-the epic and awesome arctic; home of the north pole; polar bears; Alaska, Canada, Russia, Greenland etc; and most importantly in my humble eyes the New Siberian Islands , of which I would be pleasured to claim as Varying Randomisity's territory on the map.
I would love it if you checked out my nation, its policies and its history.
Thank you.
Thank you very much.
When you say without too many minority parties, do you mean you would just include, for example, Labour, Liberal Dems, Conservative and perhaps UKIP and the Green party? These are the only parties I would include in the polls, however that is only my personal opinion...
Yes exactly that
Cool. These parties, I feel are the only relevant ones in this years election. SNP is discarded as it cares more for Scotland than Britain as a whole.
It appears no-one has followed me up on my request for the New Siberian Islands. Because of this, I would now like to say I am straightforwardly claiming them, as well as the unclaimed majority of Russia .
Thank you.

Thank you for your warm welcomes, all of you
Before any more changes are made to the map, I would like to say a few things.
First and foremost, Varying randomisity, welcome to the Arctic! Your support is much appreciated!
Secondly, I would probably vote for Lib Dems, although I dislike each and every party.
Thirdly, I move to propose legislation on the amount of land a nation can claim. I present Arctacion as a precedent: he has claimed an inordinate stake, all the way from the Baltic nations, Belarus and Ukraine to the Central Siberian Plateau. This is both grossly disproportionate and could lead to a shortage of map space if left unregulated. Naturally, not one nation will be penalized that has already been put on the map. However, I request that Troekochi withholds any further updates until we've reached a resolution of this problem.
So what say you, Arctic?
Thank You.
Regarding your proposed legislation, I am a reasonable person. You are only submitting a reasonable request, and I can see where you are coming from. I still believe I am entitled certainly to the New Siberian Islands . The part of Russia that is unclaimed is the majority of Siberia . Seeing as I should have the New Siberian Islands , I should then also, by definition and all logic, have at least some of Siberia. The amount of Siberia I claim, I feel, should be in accordance with the recent legislation proposed by Kubrath.
Whoever is in authority of the map and anyone wants to offer an opinion on this Siberian Dilemma, please respond on the message board as I am eager for this land dispute to be resolved.
