It's a puppet controlled by a few old nations in Anime after the founder CTE and the region was raided.

M... Miyazaki-san?!

Don't panic; we're here to guard the fort. Miyazaki should be back soon.

Also, WA News, "Back to Work" Edition: The WA finally woke up enough to put a proposal on the table: the "Nuclear Arms Protocol". This is the second attempt by proposal author Chester pearson to close a loophole he thinks was opened by the repeal of GAR #102, the "International Criminal Court". That resolution had outlawed a number of acts as war-crimes, including the deliberate targeting of civilians for destruction by nuclear weaponry. This proposal seeks to outlaw nuclear genocide explicitly.

A reasonable argument, but as usual, the devil's in the details. The proposal would still allow the targeting of civilians if they're co-located with strategic military targets, of if a nation's own civilians were targeted first. Personally, we're not sure just how you can regulate "ethical nuclear war", so we're not offering any advice on how to vote on this.

新年快乐!

Happy New Year!!!

Happy new year!

The best way to deal with nuclear war is to be immune to cancer and radiation poisoning - for example, by becoming perfect beings of steel and wire. And by having a Faraday cage to shield yourself from the electromagnetic pulse.

This upcoming Anime season - Nothing much to be excited about. Well, maybe Kantai Collection and Kuroko Basketball III may be worth a look.

The next season starting April 2015 has a better line up - The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan, Hibike! Euphonium, and Knights of Sidonia II.

Kancolle and idolm@ster Cinderella girls for me are must watches

Ehhhh.... I dunno, didn't they have a pretty solid "ending" in season 1? Unless they turn it into a zombie or supernatural story I don't see how Urobuchi (aptly nicknamed Uro'butcher') can salvage it.

Tokyo Ghoul Part 2 is on my list to watch as well as Durarara 2 :)

It had a really large cliffhanger, so they knew before hand that they were going to go into a season 2.

I'm not sure how, or what the second season will entail, but i don't think they could butcher it...

that badly...

i hope.... :(

WA News, "Dancing Bears" Edition: The General Assembly resolution "Nuclear Arms Protocol" was passed 7,805 votes to 2,897. We ended up abstaining on it because the vote in Anime was 3-3, and we couldn't think of a compelling reason to break the tie. Anyways, you'll be glad to know that your population is safe from nuclear genocide now. Hopefully.

Going from the dead serious to the dead silly, next up for vote is a proposal on "Promotion of Dance". You can blame Bears Armed for this one. We're not really sure why they want the WA to enact legislation promoting the preservation of traditional dances, other than as an excuse to have a committee called the ‘World Assembly Library of Terpsichorean Zest’. We ended up approving this because the Bears have been good friends to Kawaiians in the past, so we figured we'd throw them a bone here.

I think so too about April. Although i do hope that this season does contain a surprise. It sure would make the season worthwhile if a sudden unexpected series shines. I will try Absolute Duo and Idolm@sters.

hi!

I'm pretty darn excited for this season, really.
I'm not excited for Binan Koukou Chikyuu Bouei-bu Love, but I'll watch it anyway.
What I am excited for though is Yuri Kuma Arashi, Koufuku Graffiti, Durarara second season, KnB third season, Junketsu no Maria, and maybe one or two other things.
I'm excited for upcoming seasons too, but I'm digging Winter for sure.

Durarara Season 2 is coming out on the 10th. Does anyone know where I can watch it when it comes out?
