Well, at the moment there's a WA proposal that finally came up for vote. (The previous one, "Access to Humanitarian Aid" was passed 10,008 votes to 1,387, btw). General Assembly Resolution #21, the "Living Wage Act", is up for repeal. The repeal author is claiming the resolution is badly worded and self-defeating. For example, it defines the poverty line based on the price of housing, thus creating an incentive to inflate housing costs.
Our personal view is that the resolution is economic micro-management and ought to be repealed, so we're recommending a "Yes" vote on it.
