Agora anarchy action

Certainly as the only really economic school that both predicted the 2008 economic collapse and proposed a solution, it's the burden on the rest of society to try to disprove it (and you, for that matter.) Nor has the Marxist school of economics have had the illusion of being reasonable outside of the field of Sociology, but you would certainly agree with me that they got a lot right or at least offer better critiques than the mainstream economists do? If we stuck our heads in the sand, we'd never become relevant ourselves, and we'd have to concede to the "vulgar economy" every time using this argument.

From one of my puppet nations:

"Look at this cat video!" exclaims your easily distracted brother while showing you a video of a kitten being potty trained. "The thing is, Libertarians are too dumb to figure out the issues, let alone the right candidate."

Agora anarchy action

I must agree, libertarians in electoral politics are a bad joke. Libertarians should instead focus on direct action and counter-economics to challenge the power of the state.

Can I ask, what is the difference between agorism and anarcho-capitalism?

Pantuxia wrote:Can I ask, what is the difference between agorism and anarcho-capitalism?

I think the only difference is really that agorists are trying to distance themselves from the historical and social baggage that comes with the term 'capitalism' as practiced in a statist society. Of course, any society that includes the generational accumulation of mass individual wealth will eventually lead to a society controlled by corporations. Not anarchist at all.

Agorism is counter-economics under a repressive regime. Its a form of revolutionary voluntaryism i.e left libertarian social philosophy, that eschews any form of violence, political participation, and the sharing of crayons. More or less its just a black market as a form of protest. For a real world example, I suppose the dark-net ebay; the silk road

What nation type most accurately represents an anarchist community?

Also, why do these fascist assholes:

Have over 500,000 subs combined, while these guys:

Have about 30,00 subs combined? Why is anarcho-capitalism becoming a trend? And why do these ancapi morons think they're anarchists if they support closed borders?

What would've been the most anarchist/least fascist way to vote in the UK's EU membership referendum?

Pantuxia

from a purely ideological standpoint, i think it doesn't matter at all. being in the eu, you tansfer some legislative power from the state to a larger state-like organisation. on one hand you delegitimise the paradigm of nation states by subscribing to a supra-national entity (which is an important point imho), but on the other hand you'll have regulations valid for a larger population, removing some possibilites for local solutions.
generally, a state with 60 mio. people is just as much as a state as one with 500 mio people. and not inherently less oppressive.

of course from a purely pragmatic standpoint, voting for the brexit was a pretty unfavourable decision for the british.

Nations of Anarchy,

Vetelo, founder of the region USSD, asked wether we want embassies between USSD and Anarchy.
Is anyone in favor or opposed?

I would be in favor of that. By the way, did you notice that you and Astrum Nigum are tied for endorsements.

Today – 5th July – is Eirin's national day. Or rather it would be if it was a country. It was founded by me on this day some years ago. Three I think.

Congrats!

YoriZ wrote:Is anyone in favor or opposed?

i have no objections. they are anti-fascist, anti-capitalist and even link to anarchist resources. having an embassy doesn't mean that we have to agree on almost all issues.

Hey guys. I found out about this the other day, shows just how great anarchists used to be treated by the government:

They still are treated terribly.

Hey, I just recently made a new account on NationStates after having played it years ago when I was 14. I haven't been an anarchist for very long (I used to be a socdem), but having been convinced that it can work, I believe its the only system that can truly prevent oppression and protect the Earth from enivornmental cataclysm. Too bad the alt-right seem to have invaded the forum as well.

It's pretty active. If you want to talk so much, then why not start some discussion?

I said that in a wrong context. Anyways..
so we have a sortof regional government?

Well, we have regional officers, no regional government (remember: there is no government like no government). World Assembly Nations in Anarchy receive administrative powers in accordance to their influence. We keep up the maximum number of regional officers that NationStates allows us (15) and regional officers have maximal authority (Appearance, Border Control, Communications, Embassies, Polls). The regional officer with most endorsments is the WA-delegate. In this case it is my nation, however, at the moment Astrum Nigrum has the same amount of endorsments so the situation could switch anytime. Nations that are World Assembly members are encouraged to endorse all other World Assembly members in the region. This is part of our regional defense, as we are a founderless region.
