Well I lost my job today. The county is insisting on the kid attending public school.

Sorry about that Atlantigria.

* Gets back to Sheika. *

Yes, I know that it's not a tomato but is it large enough for the chilli?

ouch (: hope you find a new one fast

Damn the bad luck there, Ria. I hope that everything works out.

*examines the onion for a moment longer*

That depends on how much chili you have either made or plan on making.

That sucks Ria!! :-(

eh it's okay, not the end of the world

If we don't get this chilli made it may well be!! *searches through bag of onions*

I have some snake meat and cow tongue we could throw in? Along with the onion.

Snake meat and cow tongue? Those would actually taste pretty good in a chili. All we need now aside from that onion would be peppers, tomatoes, kidney beans, chili powder, cumin, Hungarian paprika, salt, pepper, olive oil, and beer. Hm...if not all the cow tongue is used perhaps I could interest somebody in Lengua Tacos?

.....I have no idea what is going on in here and I'm really not sure I want to lol

The Absolution cookbook. Finest fare from the nations

I'll get some recipes together.

If the best we can do is snake meat and cow tongue I feel we can definitely up our game some

I wouldn't say that snake meat and cow tongue are the best we can do, but I can say from experience it is actually pretty good eating. I've eaten snake cooked on a spit, and do not let anybody tell you that it tastes like chicken because it doesn't. There is that moment where you think "Hm, it's almost like-" and before you brain can even think of chicken the flavor takes off in another direction. Cow tongue, despite the mental images that may or may not come to mind, is actually half way decent. In some cultures, wasting any part of an animal that is to be used for sustenance is considered either an insult or bad luck. I'm not sure which it fell under, but when I was in Tijuana there was an older lady who made any kind of food you could think of from just about any part of a cow. I was skeptical, but I didn't regret at least trying Lengua Tacos (literally taco meat made from the tongue).

On another note...Furious Grandmothers? Really? They had been around for quite sometime and it is kind of sad to see them go. Don't get me wrong, I never really interacted with them but you get used to seeing familiar nation names and flags pop up on the demographics standings for the region. Well, c'est la vie, I suppose.

Industriellia

Mmm sounds yummy! Here in Industriellia we have a tradition of frying cockroaches in peanut oil during festivities, but perhaps there's even a better way to prepare them?

Fried roaches? Hm, never tried it. Crickets, now there is something that has a bit of a different flavor. Ants too. I don't recommend beetles though, not from personal experience but I watched a buddy of mine become ill after ingesting one.

Ack. All ya'll. Just ack.

See? And you thought I was alone in this. Now you should consider amending the menu, huh?

This whole thing reminds me of this skit

No. I will not amend the menu. At all.
