Benevolent thomas

I'm getting a pure black screen when I try to log onto the forums. Is anyone else having this problem?

Hallo, it's me NAE, I'm using my New Ateria! How's everyone?

No problem here, BT....

The problem has seemed to have gone away... I had a similar problem this morning that eventually went away as well.

I don't know what you all are complaining about. Here in Iowa the weather has been absolutely gorgeous this past week! Sunny skies, average highs in the upper 70s to low 80s. Breezy with just the right levels of humidity. It's perfect! Maybe people should just move away from unpleasant areas like Louisiana and come live in the paradise of the midwest. We even get snow for Christmas! :p

I have to agree with Ardreas.

We actually had an EF-2 tornado up here in Massachusetts on Monday. I personally had no clue that it had happened until I heard about it on the news this morning, but still. If that's not a sign that the weather is going crazy, then I don't know what is.

Mass here as well...we got lightning hits all around our house before that cell turned into that tornado...

Well, here in Europe the weather is quite weird

Hey guys, I am doing a civil war RP with a friend and he is not a puppet country so don't kick him

Wow... Sounds like those tornadoes did some serious damage Scow Creek... rare for them to hit that part of the country.

been getting 1 or 2 every year for the last few years...just add it to the list of hurricanes, blizzards, ice storms, and nor'easters...

Well, up here in Michigan the summers have been getting colder and colder every year. Which means the winters are brutal. I blame Canada for that part. The weather has been changing way too much. We get like 2 or 3 days of hot, then we get 3 or 4 days of rain, thunder, lightning, cold and high winds. Mother nature is pretty moody...

Those danged Canadians! They sure are sneaky...you gotta keep an eye on them.

I got Facebook and wow, it's a bit addicting.

I'm in Canada. This winter was -40 at it's peak! It was a world of suck, especially considering I had to wait for the school bus that day...

I wanted to ask -40 Celsius or that Fahrenheit thingy.

But then, it doesn't matter. It's the same in this case \o/

Yep! It's why you adjust the F to C calculation by 40 every time you convert by hand, this is the intersection point!

I still find it funny when people ask "Fahrenheit or Celsius?"

Damnit, I hit enter at the wrong time...

To continue the post: when the temp is at -40

I don't find it funny, it's tedious.

I always assume Celsius, unless I'm in a scientific environment, then I assume Kelvin.

;)

I feel like the Americans never adopted metric just to be different.
They are pretty much the only major country in the world that has not adopted metric, sticking with the nonsensical imperial system...
That now has it's base units defined in metric.

I love in Canada too. :)

It's their tradition, like China that conduct slavery, Russia annex countries, Italy bend to the church, Arabia don't permit to the women to drive, Israel and Hamas that fight each other since the 1948... it's strange but it's a tradition
