What is Fleeb day?

Kalmation

Today (April 28th) is Fleeb Day. It's where we celebrate the many contributions made by Fleeb and also celebrate Fleeb himself.
Fleeb was one of the first nations of 10000 Islands and was one of the most influential of the first Islanders. He was also Field Commander of TITO for some time.

What type of comments do you make?

Working experience for EXPO in Milan (Italy), the world exposition for food and alimentation. It's a great job but workers are poorly paid, and things are disorganized. So I made this comment under an article and some papers screened the comment.

The article was on the FB page of the journal, i just commentend the news and then somebody of another journal wrote an article upon it.

Woohoo, my other nation is ranked 2nd in its region for today's world census. I guess it's not that fortunate for its citizens, though.

Welcome, Red spain!

Has anyone seen the WA Resolution on Non Interference in Elections? I need someone who understands what's happening to clarify some points. This resolution, to my untrained eye, seems to want to standardize all elections for the sake of democracy (which seems undemocratic, forcing standards on nations). It seems like this resolution is taking away some freedoms. Additionally the first clause makes it appear as though Defender nations could be condemned for aiding native governments if said government isn't in control at the time they request aid.

We were not going down hill because money was being redirected to other areas as well. Welfare, social security, and healthcare were all being introduced. However, if you have followed the government actions since the 1980s, the back-peddling has been incredibly damaging. Welfare is being cut, healthcare is being cut, and many representatives are trying to get rid of social security as well. Meanwhile the budget for the military is increasing. So yes, it has been going downhill ever since money has been redirected to a war machine with no aim or purpose. It is to benefit a minute few, not any laborer or "poor" American.

I'm ranked 20 places above last place today...but considering the nature of the category, I'm not exactly going to complain. :P

I voted against it simply because this thing states it is going to make a change, then acknowledges that the WA has no right to implement such a change, then waters down said change. It's just a whole bunch of poop.

Happy Fleeb Day everyone!

His Royal Majesty voted against the currently under vote GE proposal.
3) Reserves to individual member states, within the requirements of existing international law, the power to create, implement, amend and repeal electoral laws, rules, regulations and guidelines regarding elections held within member states.
This essentially states that the WA decides how elections are conducted within it's member nations. Each nation is sovereign and has the right to decide how its elections are conducted. The people of the nation have the right to decide how they are governed.
This resolution severely oversteps the GE's bounds and can not, by the World Assembly's own charter, be allowed to pass.

Long live a sovereign Acadeshia, Long live His Majesty, our Royal Sovereign!

I'm glad to see that I didn't completely miss the point. I'm not sure if the author just wrote the proposal poorly, or if they're an invader trying to mask shady policies behind a venear of democratic support. Either way, I voted against and no one has posted anything that supports a valid alternative.
