United Kingdom RMB Update

Firstly, I would like to welcome all new nations to United Kingdom, and I would like to encourage everyone to join our forum and apply for citizenship if you have not done so already.

Edward Wessex Elected to Parliament
After British Reform Party member Sandy Mack resigned his seat as Member of Parliament for Northern Ireland, Edward Wessex (BRP) and Independent Henry Mountbatten went head to head in a by-election. In a vote of 10-7, Edward Wessex was elected to Parliament and the BRP held their seat.

Institution of Civil Service
Last week Prime Minister Daniel North issued an executive order that created HM Civil Service. The goal of the Civil Service is to allow new members to take an active role in HM Government and permit better social mobility.

Administrator Referendum
Tomorrow, members of the region will once again go to the polls and cast their votes in a retention election to keep Andrew Fraser as an administrator. It is not expected to be a heavily contested referendum.

This is brought to you by HM Home Office.
