The Pacific

• First things first, join the World Assembly! It's like the United Nations but in NationStates. If you're confused on how to join the World Assembly, this guide should be able to help you out.

• Once you've joined the World Assembly, you can endorse any nation that is also in the World Assembly. It is extremely important for the security of the region that you make sure to endorse our World Assembly Delegate East Durthang.

• Now that you've endorsed our World Assembly Delegate, you can join our forums and then apply for citizenship in the New Pacific Order. At most, the process will take a few days, and then after that - you're officially a citizen of the New Pacific Order.

• The last thing that you need to do to get started is to join our Discord server. It allows you to communicate with all the members of the New Pacific Order, stretching across 3 main branches and other games as well. Since you're a citizen, you'll also get access to the special citizens-only channel too.

These are some of the various fun facts and observations I made over our ten day absence.

Fun Fact: There was a period between 75AD and 1903 AD where the Winter Solstice never occurred on the 23rd.
Before 75 between 71AD and 173BC there was a 243 period where 144 of the winter solstices fell on the 23rd. (V.)

It occurs to me that I have never read one of Mr. Strawberry's books in my nearly three years on the platform. I know him more as a web developer in a similar vein
to Neal Agarwal, creator of Neal.Fun.

Noticed I have often struggled with maintaining a steady pace between my personal writing projects (one being set an alternate Russian Civil war and the other being set
during China in the early 1300s) and my NS writing projects (Dushina as a whole).
→ I realize that it is literally impossible to work on everything at once without quality waning. Got to pick your battles.

I've thought about adapting Dushina into a book but significant changes would need to be made and lore developed. As always, TG me if you have any suggestions.

Due to the NS outage, I posted on the NPO Discord for the first time in maybe a year. I almost entirely forgot that I was a member of the Outreach department.
I've attempted to be welcoming and explain things to the newcomers, however I would have done this regardless of my part in the Outreach Department.

Historical Leaders of Dushina may be out soon, thus far I am through the year 1625. Just a few thousand years left to go.
- 4/16/24 Through 1525. That's where I'm going to stop as that is the true start of Spain's colonial ventures in what is now Dushina.

1000 Words of what is tentatively known as "The Sleeping Kitten", may change the name and use it for something more useful like Microsoft did with the Pixelsense;
using its name for a far more successful product. (If you are wondering, the name was the "Microsoft Surface '' before they changed it.)

I find writing outside to be significantly easier than writing inside. Just an observation.

Nature has the amazing ability to unleash the most torrential of downpours when you are walking and make it sunny when you go inside.

New National Anthem - Need to do.

Watched a video on national flags, might make a civil flag, naval flag ect. May even be done when I post this.

Possible plot about discovery of diamond coming up? "The Diamond Dilemma" is what I may call it.

Really gotta back up my NS stuff. Most of it floats around in notepads or perhaps a sentence or two in google docs.

Fun Fact: The reason it is known as "Stockholm Syndrome" is because of the high rents present throughout Stockholm, Sweden.
Despite the high rents, the natural beauty and opportunities kept people there. (F.)

Something about stealing the flag off the parliament building? Maybe that would be interesting.

More Space. More Space

Perhaps a version of “Drunken Sailor” could be written as the Dushinan national anthem. Obviously just to the tune of it, replacing “what would you do with a drunken sailor” to something like “drunken soldier” and make it match the early 1900s theme.

Pcs are my favorite console.

Extremely irritated that whenever I look up something like “Aircraft Carrier” I inevitably see AI generated images. I understand that AI is highly useful and brings the paintbrush into the hands of anyone but it continues to annoy me that they don’t get any sort of permission from the actual artists or photographers behind the images. Just to be clear, I have nothing against using AI art as a concept (I have used it a couple times myself as it is a useful tool) but it can often be annoying.

Various things on NS are varying levels of done. A few naval things, Dushinan Stocks, Dushian Rulers and a new national anthem are in progress.
