I am not personally a fan of violent video games, but I know many people who are and they are not in any way violent people.

A lot of research has shown no correlation between violence in people and violence in video games. Trisium is strictly against the outlawing of violent video games.

Sivmenopolis disagrees because banning violent video games would reduce profit for the corporations.

Todays issue: The Empire Strikes First?

I completely agree, banning violent video games would accomplish absolutely nothing. I can attest to the fact that I play games like COD, Battlefield, Assassins Creed, and GTA (I beat the GTA V campaign in one sit through -26 hours with no sleep and four energy drinks).

However, I did find this one game and it disturbed me. A lot.

Now that game is just messed up.

i just watched the video to see how bad it is, and this is my warning. He's right. It goes WAY too far.

This game called "HATRED" is the exact type of video game that embodies the truest essence of what the anti-violence advocates in video games are afraid of.

The question shouldn't be whether or not violent video games need to be banned. The question is, how much violence is too much violence in video games?

HATRED very quickly answers that question, with the simple answer, "HATRED is too much violence in a video game." If the anti-violence advocates are justified in opposing violence in video games, then they should definitely start with HATRED, because I play violent video games, and I know people who play violent video games, but there is no way I'd be comfortable playing something like HATRED.

OK, I'm a little worried about it now. What is the game, 'cause I'm not watching that video?

You don't want to watch the video.

Its about a misanthropic mass murderer (the player) who kills police officers and civilians.
