On this day 200 years ago, noble British forces burned the US capital.

You needed an army to burn our capital. London went up in flames because of poor architecture.

Multiple times too.

Not really poor architecture, just really the overall layout of the city and the buildings' composition, a flaw which had been rectified by the 19th Century.

Besides, 1814 was a classic.

Do I have to mention that do to restrictions and zoning US cities don't really go up in flames while pretty much every English house touches creating a perfect breeding ground for fires.

Several hundred years ago they did. Now, not so much.
