Indang President Armelyo Iznabero II says 2012 Regional Constitution "flawed"

SM MALL OF ASIA - The Hall of the Great Roselyn Anne - The chief executive has announced on Tuesday, February 07, that the drafted Philippine Constitution "lacks teeth", and "too broad".
Iznabero II pointed out that Subsections 3, 4, 13, of the Section 1, Article 1, and Subsections 1 and 3 of Section 2, Article 1 needs to be amended for brevity and clarity.
He stressed out that Subsection 3 is not specific and too broad as it mentions that the Regional President shall have Executive and Legislative Powers. He said that the specific extent of legislative power must be specified and shall be within limits of democracy as to prevent the violation of the Right to Democracy.
Similar goes to Subsection 4, that the certain Standards of Performance must be established, how the President will be tried for corruption and/or misdemeanor, and what will be the persona of the "Member State" that would be summoned. He also insists that the Constitution must respect the right of fair trial of the Respondent until proven guilty.
On relating to Subsection 13, he said that the President of the Philippine Senate must be elected by the Senators themselves, not by the virtue of partisanry. He stressed that while the voice of the people must be heard, utmost impartiality must be exercised while picking the Senate President.
After that, on Section 2, he said that Subsection 1 must be changed, as the provisions of Subsection 1 might violate the sovereignty of the subject country.
Clerical error was cited by the President on Subsection 3. He said that the provision must applied for parties that could be composed of 2 nations or more, not just individual nations.
He ordered the Envoy to the Philippine Region to write a letter composed of recommendations to the framers of the Regional Constitution.
