I've been keeping an eye on the region since my departure, because even though I might not see eye-to-eye with Zarvarza, as a Globalist I acknowledge this region's attempts at the promotion of the cause.

Given the current turn of events, I felt the need to share the following...

To Zarvarza:

You took an active and engaging region and destroyed it. You did so, not for the cycle of creation and destruction as you're fond of saying, or any other noble or philosophical reason, but simply out of egoism.

This region has managed to rebirth itself so many times in the past despite you, not because of you. You are not a creator, a saviour, or a visionary. You're a parasite, feeding on the attention of others to boost your ego, and you'll continue to feed until your host is dead, at which point you'll try to revive it so you can continue.

Your departure at this point is nothing more than weakness of character, realizing you bit off more than you could chew this time. Having destroyed the region and kicked out or alienated almost every valued member it had, you realized your grand plans to rebuild it were beyond your means. And they always are, because without the support of talented and dedicated members you're unfit to create or lead anything. And rather than go down with the ship fighting, something that would marr your self-image with the brand of failure if you didn't achieve success, you decided now to wipe your hands clean of the mess.

The taking down of the regional forums is just one more insult to the injuries you've inflicted to this region and its members. Not only are you not man enough to go down with the ship as it's Captain, but you're too selfish to let anyone else stand a chance at suceeding where you failed. The single thing of value you've offered this region, a forum to house the history and discussions of its members, you can't bring yourself to part with.

I know you'll resurface, sooner or later. Perhaps once the stink of your last failure has evaporated and those who remember it have left. Perhaps once someone else has managed to rebuild the region for you, so you can stride in to reap the rewards. You'll make a new nation and a new identity, as you have for so many years now after each cycle of destruction, and quietly slip inside the fabric of Society once more. Like a bad rash you just can't seem to eliminate, you'll resurface again... Because you need this. You need the attention, you love to play with people's minds, and without the Illuminati you would only be forced to examine the pathetic nature of your real life.

I hope next time Society is ready for you, and stops you before you can inflict yourself on it again. You're a disgrace to all you claim to stand for.

I don't know whose puppet you might be. More than likely, from what you've said you're Zartavaria. Not knowing you though, nor having been around during your stay, I cannot judge you. But your newness as a nation certainly does not match your experience, and given the history this region has, it is far more likely you're simply one of the same actors playing a new role than a new cast-member to the play.

I would wish you luck, but I'm not sure I'd mean it. The only thing that could save this region is new blood, and unfortunately you do not seem to fit the bill. So let me instead say that I'll continue to keep an eye on the region from a distance, and look forward to seeing how things develop.

To the Region:

To those of you who have asked for my return, I'm sorry I've refused to. My issue is strictly with Zarvarza, no one else, nor the region itself. It saddens me to see the state he's brought the region to, but at the same time I have no desire or inclination to waste any more time and energy on a project and culture that ultimately can be destroyed at a moment's notice on the whims of a selfish and self-centered individual.

Those who wish to reach me, my proverbial door is always open. While my time is limited due to RL work obligations, I'm still active here and will remain so.

I am the newly appointed Grand Chancellor. Sacrifice your firstborn to stay in my good graces.

ok guys here's the thing. None of us can be Grand Chancellor, Zarvarza has made it to where only he can change any of the administrative settings.

I propose that we who are active create a new region and start a new. A nation where people who have a position of power will maintain the same level of power, and we can all can continue growth. If this is what you all agree I will be departing and creating a new region and start recruiting right away.

Looking for Illuminati?
I was, unfortunately, forced to shut down Illuminati due to its heavily stained reputation, corrupt politicians, personal vendettas, and frank boredom. A lot of it caused by myself, some of it caused by others, but no less, it was NOT the example of Globalism that should have been set. That was three weeks ago. Most are aware of the Revolution for the removal of Jinckus as Grand Chancellor. Aiming high in its ambitions, it feel very short, leaving Illuminati an empty shell of its former glory. When Vingo and Maria left after a very short Grand Chancellorship, the title was passed on to myself, who was and is incapable of rebuilding, and lacking the desire to do so again. And so, a seven year history of this region has come to a close, and maybe it was time for it.

But Globalism itself never ends. In fact it is alive and well here on NationStates. The majority of the remains of Illuminati ventured to The Order of Lucifer who rebuilt themselves. A smaller, and newer group of people who arrived after the expulsion of Jinckus went on to found Panopticon (and even gave me naming rights to the region yet do not want me to participate). Both groups do not adhere to the GuideStones anymore but both are quite ambitious in their efforts for Global supremacy. So, for nations returning home here, for nations desiring what was, for nations who will always be Illuminati first, your options are now:

The Order of Lucifer - Managed by Jinckus

OR

Panopticon - Managed by Alexander Sothis
