Awfully hot this time of the year. We went from 'winter' straight to summer.
Indeed. That's why when I am not at work I tend to live under a beach umbrella next to the family pool. You have to admit though.....it makes the nights rock!
You said somone invaded the region. How the heck does somone invade a region?
By the way does anyone in the region have a map of their nation? I mapped out mine on google maps and I wanted to make sure I wasn't invading anyones territory or anything. If I get a map from everyone I might make a region map.
Ivading a region involves having enough new nations join in that agree to vote in a new WA Delegate. IF the region is set up so as to allow the delegate control over the region then you can invade and conquer the region by democratic means. Here in Florida the WA delegate, currently myself, does not have the authority so we can't be invaded.
Once upon a time, Florida had no founder. For years it was invaded over and over again. The original founder brought his nation back to life but really was not interested in actively playing anymore. He gave the founder nation to the leader of Catlandatopia who pledged to keep it safe by keeping the founder alive. The region was purged of invader/defender types, regional controls were turned off, and I was given co-control of this founder nation with the same instruction: keep it safe. We can be invaded but I will just toss the invaders when they try and take the Delegacy.
Our good Delegate speaks correctly when he says the lack of regional control stops invasion. Invaders like to change the World Fact Book to text that brags about who raided the region. With no ability to do that, and with an active founder to toss the rascals, we are safe and secure and free to kick back in our lounge chairs.
We invite all who are tired of having their regions invaded and defended to death to come to sunny Florida!
