The Kingdom of The Poland-Lithuania Commonwealth wrote:Some people think it's good that the UK left the EU, but after the results of the vote were announced, the British Pound's value dropped like a stone, going from almost double the value of the Canadian Dollar, to as close as it has ever been to it (about $0.57 CAD!) And the Euro did almost the same thing, going from about $0.60 CAD, to $0.70 CAD! So economy wise, Brexit was VERY BAD!!!

It's just a jolt due to the event, its a relatively normal thing for stuff like that to happen, now if it continues to crash, expect to have a worse economic situation than here in Greece

Chile 0- Argentina 0: Argentina’s Higuain misses an open shot at 20’ as both teams begin the match with tight play and the resultant fouls. Otamendi then misses a header off a Messi free kick at 24’. Chilean Marcelo Diaz picks up a questionable second yellow at 28’ to be sent off and drop Chile to ten men. At 43’ Rojo gets a straight Red for a hard foul by a referee who seems to have had a difficult job managing the match. First half statistics: 16 fouls; 5 yellow and 2 reds. The second half began with more tentative play with Chile having the better possessions. Sergio Aguero had two opportunities as a sub for Higuain but each landed in the upper deck. The second half ends in a scoreless tie despite Argentina’s overwhelming edge in shots. Extra time became more vibrant and open as Romero makes a great save against a Chilean counter. At 100’ Messi sends a free kick that Aguero heads that Bravo finger-tips over the bar. For a while it looked as if a goal would be scored but instead the cup is to be decided via penalties for the second year in a row. In Penalties Romero saves Vidal’s first attempt only to be followed by Messi missing the goal altogether. Bravo saves Biglia’s shot and Silva’s shot seals the championship for Chile.

Belgium 4- Hungary 0: A Belgium set play at 10’ results in a solid header by Alderweireld for the opening goal. Although Hungary had the edge in possession in the first half, Belgium had three times more shots. At 35’ a De Bruyne freekick glances off Kiraly’s fingertips and off the crossbar as the Red Devils continued to press forward but still short of stretching their advantage. In the second half much the same except at 65’ when an attempt by Pinter was saved by Courtois showed some Hungarian life. And then it was over: Michy Batshuayi comes in for Lukaku at 76’ and finds himself undefended to take a crossing pass for goal at 78’. Moments later Hazard 80’ dribbles through the pitch to strike from the top of the box and net a third goal at 80’. Goal number 4 comes off Carrasco strike off a counter attack at 91’. Since the opening loss to Italy Belgium has three wins with 8 goals while ceding none.

Messi looked totally defeated after his missed penalty shot, I don't think I've ever seen him so distraught as he was after his miss.

Messi is the Leonardo DiCaprio of soccer. A superstar, yet can't win that elusive award or champion that defines you. Now, Dicaprio got an Oscar, but Messi needs a championship now.

If anyone has watched the latest Game of Thrones, these are spoilers in a Paradox-esque event tree. I wish Paradox would make a GoT game. But mods will have to suffice, I guess.

– Form the Kingdom in the North! [✓] Hold Winterfell, [✓] House is Stark, [✓] Gain support of half the northern Houses.

– Ascend to the Iron Throne! [✓] Current ruling House no longer exists, [✓] Holds control of the Capital.

– Destroy the Faith Militant! [✓] High Septon dead, [✓] No active Faith Militant armies in the Capital.

– Invade Westeros! [✓] Have 1000 ships, [✓] Have dragons, [✓] Westeros currently divided.

The Third Westerosi Civil War has begun.

And, my God, that was the best television I've watched in years.

BRING IT ON! ;)

What were the arguments for the UK leaving the EU again? All I could come up with was immigrants. Was this all?

And now there are people in France thinking of a Frexit too.

The last thing we need is another nation leaving the EU. So I beg of you, don't talk about it.

But before we stop talking about it, I absolutely love this video:
