O.K. - that is your choice. But do not talk about Barack Obama and abortion when you are DELIBERATLY ignorant.
As I have said it is not just that you do not know (that is O.K. - there are many things that I do not know) it is that you do not WANT TO KNOW.

You say that - because if you admitted the truth (a big increase in interventionism under Obama) your "he is the tool of the corporations" line would be exposed as false.
Mussolini was a life long socialist. Fascism was his development in collectivism - as he thought that ordodox Marxists (Red Flaggers) and COMMUNAL (collectivist) "anarchists" (the original Black Flaggers - before the new Progressive movement, "Fascism", took their color) could be improved upon
That made Mussolini a heretic to orthodox Marxists - hence the lying propaganda abou Mussolini being in the pocket of "Capitalists".
The fact that other socialists regarded him as a heretic, and some ended up killing him - and killing his girl friend (by the way a friend of Musso who was with him at the called out "long live socialism" he was not changeing sides), is actually "par for the course", different socialist factions often kill each other - indeed socialists WITHIN the same faction often kill each other.
You may find out about what socialists (and communal "anarchists") REALLY mean by "fraternity" yourself one day.
Still I thank you for not repeating the nonsense about Barack Obama "only" adding a TRILLION Dollars a year to the national debt.
Last time I looked it was about five trillion Dollars.
Why do I think you are not a libertarian?
Because the WELFARE STATE is what has growing in the United States (and all other Western nations) over recent years and decades - it the major area of government growth.
Yet you seem shy of denouncing the W.S. programs - if you were a libertarian the out-of-control costs of things like Medicare and Medicaid would be what concerned you most (as they threaten the United States) you would be horrifid that (for example) tens of millions of people now live on government Food Stamps (which did not exist in the 1950s) and so on.
Yet nothing - no show of concern.
Just as you show no concern about the activity of the NLRB and the EPA - business enterprises are being bankrupted by them all over the United States with men and women being thrown out of work.
Yet all you say is "they existed before Barack Obama" - as if nothing changed in January 2009.
That is not what a libertarian would say - a libertarian would be fighing the inreased activity (the new regulations) of, for example, the pro union NLRB.
Still I could be quite wrong.

Well that could mean two different things.
It could mean "look out into the world and see if their are powers that seek to impose what Edumund Burke called "armed ideologies" hostile to the United States".
And there are indeed such powers - Iran (12er Shia of the "bring fire and blood to the world" HASTENER sort - out to bring about the return of the "hidden Iman" by nukeing places).
Pakistan - already has nukes (admits it) and could fall to an "Islamist" regime at any time (Pakistan is about as stable as a bottle of nitro).
North Korea (with its mutant version of Marxism - also already has nukes).
China (a truly huge power - with clear desings on the Pacific, a clear threat over the medium term, and to near by American allies it is a threat right now).
And on and on.

Could mean "get rid of the armed forces till one is actually attacked or one has intelligence that an attack is comming".
Well that is like the campaign the young candidate wants to run in the film "The Candidate".
As the professonal tells "The Candidate" that is fine - totally fine, he will even give written guarentee that the campaign will be like that.
The bit of paper he hands the Candidate contains two words.
"You Lose".
If you wait till there is clear intelligence of a comming attack to create armed forces.
You Lose.
It takes time to create a modern armed forces from scatch.
And the world has become a de facto smaller place.
Countries can "opt out" of their own defence IF the United States will protect them (I would argue that this free loading should STOP, for example if Israel can afford to spend 7% of its GDP on defence so can South Korea).
But the United States has no one about to protect America.
There is no one else to call.
By the way none of the above means that every war is a good idea.
I opposed the Iraq war (not because I loved the socialist Saddam Hussain - but because I thought he would be replaced by Islamists, although he was goint that way himself).
And I wish I had opposed the Afghanistan war (I made a terrible mistake by supporting it - I admit that error).
What was supposed to be a war to kill OBL (and his ally Mullah Omar - leader of the Afghan Taliban and still at large) turned into a bloodsoacked "nation building" absurdity.
Oh by the way....
Of course National Socialism grow out of German War Socialism.
See Ludwig Von Mises on how the economic policy of Germany during World War One was different to (for example) the economic policy of France (even though France was also in a total war - the same total war).
The IDEAS of German War Socialism go back long before the First World War - but their USE during the war (the turning of business owners into the toys of the state) is important. It gave the Nazis practical examples to build upon.
