There is a feeling that I get when visiting old, semi-inactive regions. It feels like a fraction of the past, of history…of something that used to be there but is now dormant, resting in an old foggy graveyard in the quiet early morning, in peace, nothing to disturb it other than the occasional passerby from a distance or the cawing of crows.
There was a whole bunch at my parents, my mom baked all the leftover waffle batter for Brussels waffles. I had 2 with whipped cream and 1 with molten chocolate.
