A lot of people who were left handed when I was going through school were forced to learn how to write with their right hand, but they do just about everything else with their left. So I'm not entirely sure about your very first statement, but you did also point out that ambidexterity can be learned, so it seems we are in agreement!

I'm not interested in Native American history, though. Same as the Chinese but only because I have a hard time differentiating whether this/that name belongs to a person or a place.

European history is the best. I know all about the Holy Roman Empire.
