Hmmm...did I just say something? Who am I?
1 day, 23 hours ago FlagDavislyvania Well, Richmond is the new "downtown". But back in the old days, the center of action was in the farther south. I once stood on King St. outside a long-gone theater called Fine Arts, drunk (of course) while bullfighting cars with my jacket. That was 25 years ago, and God knows how I made it this far! Now, it's all Jim Bob Ray's and other kiddie bars with huge lineups. I doubt if I'll ever set foot in a bar again.
As for parties not getting out of hand, yeah. Memory lapse. I think they..we..did far worse things back in the Good Years than they dare to do now.
