IF IF IF it IS IS IS peaceful. Alot of protests in general go violent to an extent. so besides guards and SWAT members keeping people safe, how do you control this?

I plan to make duck's great again

Nazis in particular and fascists in general have an ideology based on racial purity, rampant misogyny and hatred of those different from themselves usually using them as scapegoats for society's ills. Intellectuals tend to also catch flack as does higher education. They endorse corporate cronyism, reject human rights and tend to twine religion and government together rather than keep a separation of church and state.

They also reject the democratic process, freedom of the speech and freedom of the press. So ironically letting fascists have a say can in the end lead to no one but fascists having a say if they gain power.

Just so they can enforce that view the police and military often have supreme power.

So no, I do not let fascism exist (and yes those are all considered traits of fascism by historians). I find it runs counter to what I believe in and any democratic country should stand for.

I should say national purity as its often expressed in hyper nationalism, but a lot of it often seems to boil down to racial purity in the end.

I'd allow them to do it... but have a bunch of pro-left, antifascism, anti-nazi groups rally at the same time, in the same place, with large numbers of police monitoring the situation.

Problem solved!

I can see where you are coming from. That is a great idea.
I have noticed that in pretty much all developed countries that this Nazi campaign thing would not be legal. I know my opinion shouldn't be motivated by this, however surely the laws must have some truth behind them. If anyone disagrees with Nazi campaigning (without violence) and think it should be illegal, than I would appreciate your opinion.

Hm... well hypocrisy leads to animosity. You can't say, everyone can speak their minds, you know, except if I don't like what you have to say. That creates conflict between the people and the government, as well as distrust.

It's one of those conundrums of an open democracy. We really can't censor someone on free speech if it is to be free, but on the other hand allowing this school of thought sows the seeds for the destruction of the very institution we are trying to uphold.

Even then, even in the USA you have libel and slander laws where making harmful erroneous statements about a person can get you sued.

Side thought, but I've seen this issue about a Nazi rally many times, but never seen one regarding a communist rally. Why is that?
