Loading...So according to my nation's statistics, 3% of all my deaths are to do with War.
Looking at Wikipedia, the world's crude death rate is 8.37 people per 1000 per year. Thus, if I apply this to NTZ8's 6.612 billion people, and then multiply it by 3%, I have 55,343,440 million of my own people dying at war per year.
This doesn't seem altogether that successful to me...
You forgot to multiply by 0.03 :p
55 million is your total deaths per year, 1.6 million are due to war. Still a lot, but if you consider your population is about that of planet earth, and presume civilian casualties in various local wars happening all over (people deprived of food due to war, which isn't the same as dying of a famine due to a shortage of food in and of itself) are counted as well, it's about what I would expect.
