Today Agenda: Visit to the Hundredstar Railway Authority (HURA) Rail Assembly Plant

Prime Minister Baygents will arrive at the HURA Rail Assembly Plant, Sparrowdale by train and will visit the carriage assembly area and other working areas of the plant. Along with a representative of the Ministry of Transport and Maritime and a representative from HURA, Prime Minister Baygents will offer remarks highlighting the benefits of government-corporate commercial collaboration.

At Sparrowdale Plant, HURA manufactures, refurbishes, rebuilds and overhauls passenger vehicles.

Today Agenda: Visit to Merchantcourt Agricultural Research Centre (MARCen)
The Prime Minister Baygents will visit the MARCen, Merchantcourt, Forestcloth, which has led a genetic improvement program for potatoes since 2007. They will attend a presentation on the projects that the Merchantcourt Agricultural Research Centre (MARCen) are currently working on, and then a scientist will accompany them to an in vitro laboratory to see some plants. Since its creation, the centre has produced more than 15 varieties of potatoes. The centre also conducts potato variety trials in nation-wide in order to test their disease resistance.

Founded in 2006 by the Hundredstar Agricultural Institute. It helps to promote agriculture in the Lightmason District. Its unique location gives it an exceptional level of biosecurity that is conducive to operating a genetic improvement program.

Meeting with the Mayor of Forestcloth
The Prime Minister Baygents will meet with Mr. Mark Bollstorm, Mayor of Forestcloth, and his wife, Julie, as well as municipal councillors to discuss certain socio-economic issues affecting the city. They will also sign the city’s guest book.

On February 21, the Government of Hundredstar decided to provide emergency relief goods (fire extinguishing agents & equipment's) to the Sekangkang Kera, through the Foreign Aid Foundation (FAF) in response to the request from the Government of Sekangkang Kera following serious damage from the forest fire in the country.

Forest fires broke out at the beginning of this month in the Bagan Region of Sekangkang Kera. Since then, forest fires have spread over a wide area of the country. The Government of Hundredstar decided to provide emergency assistance from a humanitarian point of view, as well as in light of the friendly relationship between Hundredstar and Sekangkang Kera

2017 Policy Address #1 - Logistic & Transportation Sector
Improving Ancillary Maritime Facilities for Public Transport

The Government will improve a number of remote public piers to facilitate public access to outing destinations and natural heritage. The first phase will cover about 10 public piers in the Outerwolf and the Tonstove Island. It's provide smooth operation for the six major outlying island ferry routes. The objective is to ensure enhanced service quality, financial viability and reasonable fare level of ferry services.

Today Agenda: Opening of ‘Science for People Initiative’ at Palmhaven Health Sciences Centre by Prime Minister Baygents
The Prime Minister will attend the official opening a 280 000-square-foot medical research space at Palmhaven Health Sciences Centre, Cronusdale, Holmlock. This will be the largest and only centre of its kind in Hundredstar. Following the inauguration, Dr. Baygents will visit several labs, such as the Neurointervention Centre, where they will see how research is helping patients recover from strokes and understand how the brain works when it must do competing tasks. 

The Palmhaven Health Sciences Centre, affiliated with the University of Holmlock, is an internationally recognized leader in research and education and one of Hundredstar’s premier academic health sciences centres. It specializes in caring for women with high-risk pregnancies as well as critically ill newborns and adults, and offers specialized rehabilitation, treatment and prevention of cancer, cardiovascular disease, neurological and psychiatric disorders, orthopaedic and arthritic conditions, and traumatic injuries.

Visit to the Milksfoord Foundation Exhibit at the Art Gallery of Bishopsquare
The Prime Minister will visit the Art Gallery of Bishopsquare, Bishopsquare, Holmlock, to see an exhibition of works from the Milksfoord Foundation. The Foundation responds to the recognized need within society to educate and improve knowledge of the environment in a way that stimulates interest, excitement, creativity, responsibility, and for some, the desire for study in this area.

Today Agenda: Visit to the Wintergate Centre by Prime Minister Baygents
The Prime Minister will visit the Wintergates Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology Centre, the academic engine for entrepreneurship at the University of Bentrophers, Coldoflea, and meet with some of its students. He will speak to them briefly about the importance of innovation and their role as future business leaders in Hundredstar.

The Wintergate Centre is known for its strong focus on innovation and entrepreneurship, research-driven faculty and a reputation for producing the leaders of tomorrow by offering entrepreneurial academic programs.

Visit to Our Mothers Exhibition
The Prime Minister will visit Our Mothers, an multi-national carving exhibition that showcases an innovative use of technology to support international artists at Mortenhouse Museum of Art, Fillercourt, Coldoflea. They will then meet with the young artists who have successfully completed the four-week intensive unique carving program.

The Our Mothers project is a unique educational carving project that embraces the culture and storytelling nature of art and, at the same time, explores new technology and promotes carvers communities and their unique artistic talents.

Today Agenda: Visit to the Paloshead Composites R&D Centre by Prime Minister Baygents
His Excellency Prime Minister will receive an overview of the Paloshead Composites R&D Centre’s mission and learn about the different projects in progress while touring the facility and meeting with researchers and business representatives.

The Paloshead Composites R&D Centre is a non-profit organization established in 2013 to support technology development and the commercialization of composite materials and processes for the aerospace, ground transportation, agricultural and industrial sectors in Porthbran and southern Hundredstar. It is also developing leading-edge design and educating companies about the benefits of developing and using composite and bi-composite materials.

Round-table Discussion on Young Entrepreneurs and Start-ups
His Excellency Prime Minister will take part in a discussion with private sector and non-governmental organizations about young entrepreneurs and start-ups in Hundredstar, the challenges they face and opportunities available to them. The event will take place at Youth Entrepreneurs Society (YES) HQ in Volkerfoord, Porthbran. His Excellency will deliver opening remarks.

Established in 2014 the YES is a non-profit organization committed to fostering economic development and public reform in Porthbran and the Hundredstar.

Creation Windjammer Sea Area Transportation & Connectivity Commission (Windjammer Commission)

The overall aim of this commission is to develop innovative and sustainable rural and coastal transport schemes and services reducing social exclusion and enhancing the vitality and sustainability of sparsely populated areas in Windjammer Sea. Windjammer Commission will be under jurisdiction of Ministry of Transport and Maritime.

Tax Exemption for Shipping Operation

The income of a shipping company derived from the operation of Hundredstar ships is exempted from tax by 70% from the year of assessment 2017. This incentive is only for residents. A "Hundredstar Ship" is defined as a Class-A1, sea going ship registered as such under the Merchant Shipping Ordinance Acts, 2011.

Today Agenda: Visit to Otterhamton Valley Aging Research Center (OVARC) by Prime Minister Baygents
Prime Minister Baygents will visit the facility that studies dementia and the social causes around aging. Dr. Baygents will then have a discussion on modern care and innovative approaches to aging and health, with a specific focus on dementia prevention and care, with the experts. Prime Minister will also meet with OVARC researcher Dr. Paula Drywinds, who is working in a group with leading research results on how to lower or postpone risks of being affected by dementia.

OVARC, which was established in 2014 by the Posserburgh University, Winterfeld, is a multidisciplinary research centre devoted to aging and health. Its mission is to understand the biomedical and psychological aspects of the aging process in relation to social and physical contexts across the entire life span. The centre’s ultimate goal is to improve the health and well-being of older individuals by meeting the challenges and embracing the opportunities presented by the aging population.

Round Table on Transportation Innovation and Environmental Sustainability (TIES) - Cornburner Institute of Enviromental, Bledllyn
Prime Minister Baygents will attend a discussion on municipal action for sustainable transportation with representatives from the government, academia and business. The event will also be an opportunity to exchange on the latest in silent and emission-free public transport.

2017 Policy Address #1 - Logistic & Transportation Sector
The logistics industry has flourished in recent years. 18 hectares of land have been set aside in Crownstead, Lewden for logistics use. Land will also be earmarked in new development areas for the construction of modern logistics facilities. The Government will continue to improve Lewden Port facilities and enhance the efficiency of port operations, thereby seizing the opportunities brought by the growth of trade in the regions.

Upon commissioning of the Lady Crossgrave Bridge, it will take only 45 minutes to transport goods from Crownstead to the Orionburgh Container Terminals, instead of about 2.5 hours at present. Meanwhile, the journey time between the Lewden Port and Crownstead will be reduced from 1 hours to 30 minutes, thereby greatly increasing business opportunities for the modern logistics sector in Hundredstar.

The Civil Aviation Management Authority has completed the public consultation on the Bledllyn International Airport 's future development, including the construction of a third runway and new Logistic Hub's. In addition, the new air cargo terminal project is expected to be completed in early 2019. This project will increase the airport's cargo handling capacity by 50%. We expect more competition in the industry upon completion of this new terminal, which will help enhance the airport's competitiveness.

In response to the global financial tsunami, the Prime Minister announced in his 2017 Policy Address #1 that he would “establish and chair a task force to continually monitor and assess the impact of the financial tsunami on local and global markets, and provide timely evaluation of its impact on the local economy and our major industries during this trying period. More importantly, the task force will propose specific options for the Government and business community to address the challenges. This will help us overcome the crisis, turn it into new business opportunities and enhance our competitiveness.”

The Ministry of Energy & Utility, Renewable & Sustainable Energy Research Agency (RASERA) today announced the availability of $6.9 million in funding for research to improve biorefinery technologies. The National Biofuel Research Initiative (NERINE) program is coordinated and co-funded jointly between RASERA, Ministry of Trade/ Technologies & Mining and the Ministry of Energy & Utility.

Biofuels and bioproducts can be created from a range of renewable energy sources, such as wood waste, short rotation crops and non-food grasses. Currently, there are only a few integrated biorefineries that work with new energy sources and across the entire supply chain from raw material to finished product. RASERA and Ministry of Energy & Utility support technology development and engineering solutions to overcome barriers to their operational success and economic growth. This research helps integrated biorefineries reduce costs and improve performance to enhance Hundredstar energy security by reducing dependence on foreign oil and fostering economic growth through the latest advances in biotechnology.

Hundredstar Police Inspector General, Inspector General Amanda Gailheath, today launch Crime Across Border Preventive Initiative altogether with Mr. Ryan Hookbender, Deputy Chief of Staff for Terrorism & Border Issue, Ministry of Foreign Affair.

Crime Across Border Preventive Initiative (CABPRI) is comprises strategies and measures that seek to reduce the risk of cross border crimes occurring, and their potential harmful effects on individuals and society, including fear of crime, by intervening to influence their multiple causes.

CABPRI Three Folds Strategies
- Government leadership at all levels is required to create and maintain an institutional framework for effective cross-border crime prevention.
- Cooperation and partnerships between foreign government ministries and authorities, civil society organizations, the business sector, and private citizens are required given the wide-ranging nature of the causes of crime and the skills and responsibilities required to address them.
- Knowledge base strategies, policies and programmes need to be based on a broad multidisciplinary foundation of knowledge, together with evidence regarding specific crime problems, their causes, and proven practices.

Starian Talent Initiative 2017

Starian Talent is part of the Hundredstar Government's efforts to develop quality human capital comprises outstanding students born in Hundredstar studying in the final year or graduates who are going through the experience of practical training (Internship). Participants are placed in Related Companies Hundredstar Government for a period of six (6) months

Starian Bio-Talent Program was introduced in 2017 to enhance the biotechnology industry with the goal of training 2,000 students, graduates, youth and school leavers in 20 companies. This program focuses on Agrobiotech, bioindustrial, BioMedical and Biobased industry. In addition, this program is a strategy to facilitate continuous supply of competent workforce for the economy bio industry in Hundredstar.

Starian Talent Initiative 2017 will manage by Youth Council, Ministry of Education/ Youth & Science. Youth Council is chaired by Ms. Monica Kinsmouth.

The Youth Initiative Program comprises of several schemes including National's Interest Free Loan Scheme, National's Youth Business Loans, National's Youth Training Scheme, National's Youth Skills Development Scheme, National's Fee Reimbursement Scheme for Students from Less Developed Areas and National's Laptops Scheme.

National's Laptops Scheme is for Talented Students with the main objective of this scheme is an attempt to enhance the scope of research and quality education in the country and increase the access to information technology.

The Government of Hundredstar has approved the establishment of a cyber defence command, known as National Cyber Guard Authority (CyGA), to help protect the country's online infrastructure.

Essentially, the move creates regulatory measures needed to establish the command and prescribes responsibilities for different committed bodies. CyGA's mission is to co-ordinate and integrate activities of the national cyber defence sector, in line with national cyber defence policy, guidelines, and strategies.

CyGA will headed by Dr. Ramon de Ravensteen as their first Director General. Dr de Ravensteen also will be committe members of Joint Security Committee (JOSEC)

Deputy PM Folger, in his press conference just now confirmed that a special operation was designed to rescue about 900 Hundredstarian trapped in Bristen Faults, which is now in crisis and on the verge of war.
JOSEC has enabled Operation NEO-Triumph I to mobilize military assets of Hundredstar Armed Force. The report also said nearly 875 Hundredstarian caught up in a location named Port Kermot.
1st DIVISION under leadership of Major General Quinten Renaud had directed to lead the operation with the help of air force and naval element, were also mobilized.

The Center also coordinates innovation labs in government entities to build capacity for innovation across the national workforce.

The Center will build a national database for innovative government initiatives and international best practices in this field. It will also consolidate individual initiatives by government entities into a unified framework to better serve federal and local government entities in the country and preserve intellectual rights associated with innovations in this area. Xavier II Center for Government Innovation will spread a culture of innovation and turn it into a daily practice in the government to make the Hundredstar a global innovation hub.

714th UAV Brigade Fact Sheet
The Division of Army Affair has activated the 714th UAV Brigade at Eagleworth Air Force Base, Tonstove Island, it announced on 2nd September, as the Hubdrestarian Army continues to expand its Military Long-range Observation Capabilities Initiative (LOCI).
