Frozen Realm Record VII

The Frozen Realm Record

Welcome once again to the Frozen Realm Record, this will be our seventh issue, and as promised it is out roughly on time. With hope this will be informative!

Elections News:
Elections close, the day of this release! If you haven't voted yet, better get around quick. The candidates changed since the last issue, with Crushita dropping out and BraveSirRobin and tatte joining in. putting the total number of candidates at 8, with ~19+ votes having been cast so far.

The default seating of the Underhusen act took effect when voting began meaning, 5 Skrifa will be elected to seats on the Underhusen from the pool of candidates.

The election has been interesting, with a variety of different views being represented in the campaigns, which appear to have potentially gained some favour, at least in terms of public votes.

Law:
During the elections the Ratification of the Judicial Reform Amendment Act has been ongoing, the act lays out Constitutional reforms that will change the rules governing judicial proceedings, this is hoped to improve the current system that was put to test in the last trial and some believed (and still believe) was shown to be flawed.

Culture:
Wintreath has been invited to the International Northwestern Union's (INWU) Fall Festival from the 19th to the 25th of October, we will also be running a booth on the venue at their forums. All citizens are welcome to give help and ideas for the booth, and are encouraged to head over to INWU for the festival it's self, it should be quite enjoyable!

Welcome:
3 new citizens have joined Wintreath this week! A welcome to:
NiccosSystem (Egaliara),
Plumia (Plumia),
and Ajit Emberwood (Lacklore)
Thanks for making the Frozen Realm your home!

A Look Forwards:
As mentioned: Elections will conclude, a new UH will be selected and they will empower a new speaker; also in a few weeks Wintreath will be attending INWU's fall festival.

Thank You for reading this release!
