The Second Age (The Age of Song)

In 2000 SA, both the Saari and Horse Lords lived in peace, groups of peoples migrating and creating their own Kingdoms and peoples in deserted or sparsly populated areas of Ammorica. The only real threat for the first century was fallen men in the form of bandits.

In the North, the Saari Kingdom prospered, in the Misty Mountains, where Trolls were believed to dwell, a group of hardy Saari men and women, led by Khazghul the Bearded migrated and built an elaborate Kingdom centered in Dwemaborg, in the highest peak of the Misty Mountains, Åthank, the Kingdom of Åthank, renouned for their craftsmanship and mining.

In the South rose the Kingdoms of Semenor and Chi-Kek, ruled by King Ethelred the One-Eyed and King Huang of Qing, the people of Chi-Kek looking different from Semenorians, Saari, and Horse Lords, being somewhat shorter, with brown eyes, and a different tounge unknown to most of the other people's.

In the West, was the West Country, ruled by no King or Lord, a green, peaceful land full of quiet farmers, fishermen, and brewers. Very well recieved to travellers, though few native born folk ever travel more than one town away from their birthplace.

In the West Mark, so named because it sits to the Southwest of the Saari Kingdom, is located in the center of Ammorica, expanding into the West, rules the Horse Lords, a people of song and sword. A large land, a sea of golden grass and streams, with mountains along the Northern edge on the Saari border.

Begining in 500 SA, the Kingdoms of Ammorica prospered like never before in a golden age, West Country pipe weed and beer flowed to the Horse Lords and Saari, Saari paintings flowed to the Southern Kingdoms, Åthank metalwork flowed to the Horse Lords, Horse Lord tapastries and ale flowed everywhere, Chi-Kek stone flowed to Saari and used by Åthank builders, protected by Horse Lord archers, and drank West Country beer. The Second Age was peaceful, and though exciting, was not very recorded except for births, ascensions and deaths of Kings and recording taxes. Many songs were made during this time and are remembered to this day.
