Voting for Resolutions:

Resolution 1 - The Argantian Veto System

First Stage

  • System 3 is eliminated, with no Votes.

  • Systems 4-7 are eliminated, with only 1 Vote each.

Second Stage
  • System 1 now has a majority of the Votes, and so is the winner.

System 1 - Overridable Representative Veto

There are 4 Veto Holders (Jedze iii, Sergai, Luke sakira iv and Waspeaters). These Nations are able to block legislation absolutely. However, this veto can be overridden by either (and/or - to be decided later):
(a) a larger majority vote - ie. while a normal vote requires 50% (5/9) of Permanent Seat Holders to vote for a piece of legislation, a veto can be overridden by an 80% (7/9) majority
(b) an independent adjudicator
If a veto is successful, no legislature relating to the veto matter may be considered for a month.
