Special Election for Vice Delegate - Candidacy declarations open!

In a surprising turn of events, The North Pacific finds itself without a Vice Delegate, as Abacathea lost his Regional Assembly membership for failing to meet voting activity requirements. That's right people, it's election time in The North Pacific again!

A Special Election for Vice Delegate has now begun. Candidacy declarations are currently accepted Linkhere, and everyone who has been a Regional Assembly member since November 4th is eligible to stand.

Candidacy declarations will remain open until November 24th, and voting will begin immediately afterwards. Everyone who is a member of the Regional Assembly at that time can vote. There is still plenty of time to process RA applications, so if you are not already a member but would like to vote, make sure to apply for membership Linkhere.

In the meantime, and for the duration of the election, Security Councillor Novare res will be serving as Acting Chair of the Security Council, a role usually held by the Vice Delegate. Furthermore, The North Pacific will be flying the traditional flag of Abacathea, continuing a regional tradition of honouring outgoing Delegates and Vice Delegates by using their flags as the regional flag.
