The Federal Republic of Omigodtheykilledkenny is a gargantuan, economically powerful nation, ruled by Manuelo Fernanda with an even hand, and notable for its sprawling nuclear power plants. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 10.835 billion are effectively ruled by a group of massive corporations, who run for political office and provide their well-off citizens with world-class goods and services. Their poorer citizens, however, are mostly starving to death while being urged to go out and get real jobs. The populace has reasonably extensive civil rights, although these are mostly aimed at allowing them to buy whatever they like.

There is no government in the normal sense of the word; however, a small group of community-minded, corrupt, pro-business individuals devotes most of its attentions to Defence, with areas such as Social Equality and the Environment receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Paradise City. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing, Automobile Manufacturing, and Uranium Mining industries.

Citizens recently voted in favour of declaring bubblewrap an 'abomination of nature', the workforce is almost entirely made up of slave labour, violently opinionated speakers can be heard preaching their hateful views on every street corner, and it is illegal for police officers to carry out searches due to strict privacy laws. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is crippling. Omigodtheykilledkenny's national animal is the Loch Ness Monster, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the tree-fiddy.
