The Kingdom of ZeaI is a colossal, safe nation, ruled by Kira with an iron fist, and remarkable for its parental licensing program. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 5.958 billion are kept under strict control by the oppressive government, which measures its success by the nation's GDP and refers to individual citizens as "human resources."

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, moralistic government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Defence, and Education. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Enhasa. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 51%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, followed by Automobile Manufacturing and Woodchip Exports.

Military spending is on the increase, vets have been drafted in to help "fix" those who fail the parental license exam, schools have extensive counseling programs for troubled students, and organ donation is compulsory. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. ZeaI's national animal is the Nu, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Gil.

ZeaI is ranked 4,955th in the Rejected Realms and 129,530th in the world for Largest Welfare Programs, scoring -97 on the Safety Net Mesh Density Rating.
