Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 15.168 billion are either ruled by a sleek, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.

There is no government in the normal sense of the word; however, a small group of community-minded, pro-business individuals juggles the competing demands of the Environment, Education, and Law & Order. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Kaninopilos. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Gambling industry.

The government is spending millions on renovating the public transportation system, survivors receive aid from only the most environmentally-friendly transport, the alarmingly racist TV show 'Bigtopians Say the Darndest Things' is a hit, and heavy industry grinds to a halt as new equipment must be biked in. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Yy4u's national animal is the free range chicken, which is also the nation's favorite main course, its national religion is not open for discussion , and its currency is the note.
