The Eternal Flame of Yonghuoyan is a massive, devout nation, ruled by Dominique Strauss-Kahn with an iron fist, and renowned for its compulsory military service. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 3.239 billion are kept under strict control by the oppressive government, which measures its success by the nation's GDP and refers to individual citizens as "human resources."

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it devotes most of its attentions to Law & Order, with areas such as the Environment and Commerce receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Huihuang. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 48%. A small private sector is dominated by the Arms Manufacturing industry.

The government recently relinquished its monopoly on the mail service, expensive lawyers are hired to defend citizens in court for public urination charges against their pets, government police forces protect public schools from the threat of protest, and prime commercial land is being swamped with archaeological teams. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Yonghuoyan's national animal is the Dragon, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Franç.
