The Republic of Yoda9009 is a massive, cultured nation, ruled by Yoda with a fair hand, and renowned for its punitive income tax rates. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 1.839 billion are free to do what they want with their own bodies, and vote for whoever they like in elections; if they go into business, however, they are regulated to within an inch of their lives.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it concentrates mainly on Education, although Social Equality and Public Transport are on the agenda. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Skywalker City. The average income tax rate is 87%, and even higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Tourism industry.

Schoolchildren have twice-weekly sex education classes, the police crack down on tax evaders without mercy, children are brainwashed at a young age to accept "Love and peace!" as a way of life, and the nation has an international reputation for compassion. Crime is totally unknown. Yoda9009's national animal is the Gungan, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Republic Credit.

Yoda9009 is ranked 22nd in Hyrule and 96,531st in the world for Shortest Average Lifespan, scoring -28 on the Bus Surprisal Index.
