The Sapot wa Soptim biCanhadast of Yanitaria is a colossal, economically powerful nation, ruled by Hannibal Melcanna with an even hand, and remarkable for its unlimited-speed roads. Its hard-nosed, hard-working population of 7.675 billion enjoy some of the most opulent lifestyles in the region, unless they are unemployed or working-class, in which case they are variously starving to death or crippled by easily preventable diseases.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, pro-business government stops and the rest of society begins, but it is mainly concerned with Defence, although Commerce and Law & Order are secondary priorities. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 43%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, followed by Information Technology and Uranium Mining.

Almost half of the child population live rough on the streets, airport security is provided by private companies, the flesh-eating lost souls that wander at night serve as a major tourist attraction (Yanitaria has found 1 easter eggs), and Hannibal Melcanna has just been declared ruler of Yanitaria in an international press conference. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is crippling. Yanitaria's national animal is the Ox, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the Sheqel.
