Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Automobile Manufacturing industry, followed by Information Technology and Uranium Mining.

Corporations donate huge sums of money to favored politicians, inheritance tax has recently been abolished, small businesses are gobbled up almost daily by corporate giants, and businesses often fire workers in favour of cheaper automatic systems. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is crippling. Wyrickton's national animal is the dead wolverine, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the poisonous nut.
