The Holy Empire of Wotanic Glory is a massive, devout nation, ruled by Moses with an iron fist, and renowned for its barren, inhospitable landscape. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 1.47 billion are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and Religion & Spirituality. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Isreal. The average income tax rate is 88%, and even higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Arms Manufacturing industry.

The government is spending billions of taxpayer Denariuss to support the Arms Manufacturing industry, travellers are often forcibly evicted by torch-bearing mobs, citizens are encouraged to report friends, family members or co-workers who seem depressed to the government for "counselling", and homosexuality is a crime punishable by death. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Wotanic Glory's national animal is the Dragon, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is The Worship of jews, and its currency is the Denarius.
