The Dominion of Werewolves is a massive, safe nation, ruled by Leader with an even hand, and renowned for its compulsory military service. Its hard-nosed population of 2.493 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The government -- a sprawling, bureaucracy-choked morass -- juggles the competing demands of the Environment, Public Transport, and Education. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Howling Moon City. The average income tax rate is 40%, but much higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Gambling industry, followed by Door-to-door Insurance Sales and Trout Farming.

A vast monorail network carries people all over the country, Werewolves has designated Howling Moon City as its capital city, prime real estate is devoted to wind farms and solar energy generators, and Leader has just been declared ruler of Werewolves in an international press conference. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is well under control. Werewolves's national animal is the werewolf, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Claw.

Werewolves is ranked 19th in The Jesuit Nations and 104,995th in the world for Most Conservative, scoring 35 on the Bush-Santorum Dawning Terror Index.
