The Glorious Kingdom of Vrak is a gargantuan, socially progressive nation, renowned for its keen interest in outer space. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 19.203 billion enjoy great individual freedoms in everything except elections, which, where they exist at all, are populist shams for a dictatorship government that has no intention of ever giving up power.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, pro-business government stops and the rest of society begins, but it concentrates mainly on Defence, although Law & Order and Commerce are secondary priorities. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 93%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Uranium Mining, Information Technology, and Automobile Manufacturing industries.

There are no minimum wage laws, the government has undertaken a massive education and health program to combat VODAIS, all major public areas are watched by police surveillance cameras, and heavy industry must go to expensive lengths to dispose of waste and avoid even more costly cleanup costs. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is relatively low, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. Vrak's national animal is the chickaroach, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Klatchian Kronor.

Vrak is ranked 1st in The Federated Klatchian Coast and 576th in the world for Largest Trout Fishing Sector, scoring 13 on the Nemo Depletion Efficiency Index.
