The Corporate Owned Nation of Voroka is a massive, economically powerful nation, ruled by Michael Government with a fair hand, and remarkable for its unlimited-speed roads. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 3.849 billion are effectively ruled by a group of massive corporations, who run for political office and provide their well-off citizens with world-class goods and services. Their poorer citizens, however, are mostly starving to death while being urged to go out and get real jobs. The populace has reasonably extensive civil rights, although these are mostly aimed at allowing them to buy whatever they like.

There is no government in the normal sense of the word; however, a small group of community-minded, corrupt, pro-business individuals is effectively ruled by the Department of Commerce, with areas such as Social Equality and Religion & Spirituality receiving almost no funds by comparison. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Automobile Manufacturing, Information Technology, and Uranium Mining industries.

Elections have become procedural nightmares due to voters persistently rejecting candidates, the government has ordered a moratorium on referenda, criminals are thrown to the Raccoons to repay their debt to society, and the country's famous rainforests are being bulldozed by the mining industry. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is crippling, probably because of the country's utter lack of prisons. Voroka's national animal is the Raccoon, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Dollar.
