The Dictatorship of Voodoo garden is a massive, economically powerful nation, ruled by Libby's advisory council with an iron fist, and notable for its complete lack of prisons. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 2.579 billion are ruled with an iron fist by the corrupt, dictatorship government, which oppresses anyone who isn't on the board of a Fortune 500 company. Large corporations tend to be above the law, and use their financial clout to gain ever-increasing government benefits at the expense of the poor and unemployed.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, moralistic government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and the Environment. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of West Canefield. The average income tax rate is 95%. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

Conductors wield diamond-encrusted batons to fit in with their freshly gilded surroundings, euthanasia is legal, families consisting of more than three people are forced to split up, and it is a common belief that a sport isn't sport if there are no decapitations. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. Voodoo garden's national animal is the Colby, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, its national religion is Liberationary Voodoo, and its currency is the New LAC Dollar.

Voodoo garden is ranked 1,474th in 10000 Islands and 61,245th in the world for Most Income Equality, scoring 117 on the Marx-Engels Emancipation Scale.
