The Company of Venusing is a massive, economically powerful nation, ruled by Joseff Mussolini with an iron fist, and renowned for its keen interest in outer space. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 3.9 billion are rabid consumers, partly through choice and partly because the government tells them to and dissenters tend to vanish from their homes at night.

There is no government in the normal sense of the word; however, a small group of community-minded, corrupt, pro-business individuals is mainly concerned with Commerce, although Law & Order and Healthcare are on the agenda. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Money. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Information Technology, Arms Manufacturing, and Soda Sales industries.

Half of Venusing's doctors can't speak the language, the public are free to vote for whomever the government wants in office, society and government have been organized according to a feudal hierarchy, and naturists are jailed regularly for indecent exposure. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is crippling. Venusing's national animal is the cat, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is capitalizm, and its currency is the acepto.

Venusing is ranked 4th in Aceptacion and 129,106th in the world for Most Income Equality, scoring 4 on the Marx-Engels Emancipation Scale.
