The Community of Uranus is a massive, safe nation, remarkable for its enforced nudity. Its compassionate population of 1.336 billion are prohibited from doing almost everything except voting, which they do timidly and conservatively.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, socially-minded government stops and the rest of society begins, but it is mainly concerned with Social Welfare, although Education and Healthcare are on the agenda. The average income tax rate is 47%, but much higher for the wealthy. Private enterprise is illegal, but for those in the know there is a slick and highly efficient black market in Automobile Manufacturing.

Public nudity is compulsory, vegetarianism is compulsory, scientists regularly clone human beings for research purposes, and the country's famous rainforests are being bulldozed by the mining industry. Crime is totally unknown, despite the fact that it is difficult to make it through a day without breaking one of the country's many laws. Uranus's national animal is the dolphin, and its currency is the ring.
