The Confederated Imperial Domain of Unterzagersdorf is a colossal, environmentally stunning nation, ruled by Nicolae Chrusov with an iron fist, and notable for its keen interest in outer space. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 9.293 billion are rabid consumers, partly through choice and partly because the government tells them to and dissenters tend to vanish from their homes at night.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, pro-business government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Social Equality, Law & Order, and Healthcare. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Unterzag. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 27%. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

The children of Unterzagersdorf are often remarked upon for their cheery attitude to extreme violence, psychological disorders are a taboo subject, violently opinionated speakers can be heard preaching their hateful views on every street corner, and tourists are kicked out if they express interest in their national sport. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is crippling. Unterzagersdorf's national animal is the Black Eagle, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the denarius.
