Most citizens in United States of Peace are abject pyrophobes after extremely graphic pamphlets were mailed nationwide by the government, the government is giving peace a chance, the mining industry is making inroads into environmentally sensitive areas, and United States of Peace is notorious for its citizens' infidelity. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. United States of Peace's national animal is the dove, which is also the nation's favorite main course, its national religion is a major religion, and its currency is the Florin.
