The Confederation of United Gojoseon is a gargantuan, devout nation, ruled by Prime Minister Lim with a fair hand, and notable for its unlimited-speed roads. The compassionate, intelligent population of 10.007 billion Joseonsaramdeul love a good election, and the government gives them plenty of them. Universities tend to be full of students debating the merits of various civil and political rights, while businesses are tightly regulated and the wealthy viewed with suspicion.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, socially-minded government stops and the rest of society begins, but it devotes most of its attentions to Education, with areas such as Defence and Commerce receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Asadal. The average income tax rate is 100%. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Book Publishing industry.

Retail stores offer sales every hour on the hour, small businesses are gobbled up almost daily by corporate giants, surrealist houses shaped like mushrooms and volcanoes dominate the wealthiest neighborhoods, and the government has started a campaign to crack down on road rage and encourage alternate means of commuting. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. United Gojoseon's national animal is the Asian black bear, which is also the nation's favorite main course, its national religion is Christianity, and its currency is the myeongdojeon.

United Gojoseon is ranked 763rd in the West Pacific and 34,592nd in the world for Most Subsidized Industry, scoring 13 on the Gilded Widget Scale.
