The Imperial Socialist Provinces of United Federation of Canada is a massive, socially progressive nation, ruled by Prime Minister Jack Layston with a fair hand, and remarkable for its sprawling nuclear power plants. The hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 4.77 billion Canadians live in a state of perpetual fear, as a complete breakdown of social order has led to the rise of order through biker gangs.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, liberal, pro-business government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Commerce, Social Equality, and Defence. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Ottawa. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 48%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Book Publishing industry, followed by Tourism and Soda Sales.

Employers may fire workers without giving any reason, homeless people are periodically found dead upon altars to assorted deities, children of nonreligious parents are often barred from school festival events, and it is illegal for police officers to carry out searches due to strict privacy laws. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is pervasive, and the police force struggles against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. United Federation of Canada's national animal is the Furry Beaver, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is Jedism, and its currency is the Dollar.

United Federation of Canada is ranked 1st in The North American Union and 8,549th in the world for Least Corrupt Governments, scoring 4 on the Inverse Mugabe Relativity Rating.
