The Ethereal Realm of Undertrad is a colossal, genial nation, ruled by Master av Spoler with a fair hand, and remarkable for its restrictive gun laws. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 5.947 billion love a good election, and the government gives them plenty of them. Universities tend to be full of students debating the merits of various civil and political rights, while businesses are tightly regulated and the wealthy viewed with suspicion.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, socially-minded government stops and the rest of society begins, but it is mainly concerned with Education, although Social Equality and Social Welfare are secondary priorities. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Ciutat de la Bobina. The average income tax rate is 100%. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

Pharmacies close down as medicinal drugs are sold freely by the government, the wearing and manufacture of fur apparel is banned, religion is strictly forbidden within school grounds, and anti-government political posters adorn every building like wallpaper. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Undertrad's national animal is the roc, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the bobbin.

Undertrad is ranked 4,483rd in the Rejected Realms and 128,887th in the world for Largest Mining Sector, scoring -9 on the Blue Sky Asbestos Index.
