The Unfree Pets of the King of Tyrannical Eric is a colossal, economically powerful nation, ruled by The Evil Overlord who cannot be named with an iron fist, and notable for its punitive income tax rates. Its hard-nosed, cynical population of 8.186 billion are ruled without fear or favor by a psychotic dictator, who outlaws just about everything and refers to the populace as "my little playthings."

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, moralistic government stops and the rest of society begins, but it devotes most of its attentions to Defence, with areas such as the Environment and Social Welfare receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of T E Company. The average income tax rate is 93%, and even higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Arms Manufacturing industry.

Strange looking men with big red noses are found hiding behind bushes and inside dustbins, universities are populated by the spawn of the upper classes, the armed forces are locked in an expensive and bloody war abroad to stamp out possible terrorists, and hairdressers are among those who have disappeared overnight. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. Tyrannical Eric's national animal is the giant, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is to worship Tyrannical Eric, and its currency is the Euro.

Tyrannical Eric is ranked 1st in Crusaders of Injustice and 1,069th in the world for Shortest Average Lifespan, scoring 39 on the Bus Surprisal Index.
