The Ultimate Warring Holy Empire of Trollface X is a massive, economically powerful nation, ruled by Overlord Troll-Dan with an iron fist, and remarkable for its ban on automobiles. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 2.231 billion are rabid consumers, partly through choice and partly because the government tells them to and dissenters tend to vanish from their homes at night.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, pro-business government stops and the rest of society begins, but it devotes most of its attentions to Defence, with areas such as Social Equality and Education receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Underground Troll headquarters. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 44%. Private enterprise is illegal, but for those in the know there is a slick and highly efficient black market in Arms Manufacturing.

A survey of the nation's rivers and children has shown that pesticide levels are at an all-time regional high, the police have been swamped with requests to stay up past bedtime, the military has had to quell a recent insurrection by uninsured revolutionaries, and movies and computer games are strictly censored for violence. Crime is crippling. Trollface X's national animal is the Retardog, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is Flamewar, and its currency is the Meme.

Trollface X is ranked 54th in the West Pacific and 2,875th in the world for Shortest Average Lifespan, scoring 24 on the Bus Surprisal Index.
