The Armed Republic of Trepsylvania is a colossal, socially progressive nation, ruled by The Leader with an even hand, and renowned for its sprawling nuclear power plants. Its hard-nosed, hard-working population of 6.166 billion are either ruled by a sleek, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, pro-business government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and Commerce. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Trepselika. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 43%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Automobile Manufacturing industry, followed by Arms Manufacturing and Uranium Mining.

Trepsylvania is notorious for its citizens' infidelity, airship use has soared while property values beneath their routes have plummeted, there are no minimum wage laws, and employers may fire workers without giving any reason. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. Trepsylvania's national animal is the One Horned Vulture, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is Leader Worship, and its currency is the Trepsylvanian Dollar.
