The Commonwealth of TofuDog-nation is a massive, socially progressive nation, ruled by Leader with an even hand, and remarkable for its museums and concert halls. Its hard-nosed population of 1.526 billion enjoy extensive civil freedoms, particularly in social issues, while business tends to be more regulated.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it concentrates mainly on Education, although Law & Order and the Environment are secondary priorities. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of TofuDogopolis. The average income tax rate is 45%. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

Nudity is frowned upon, TofuDog-nation's soft-touch approach to diplomacy has made it known as the 'push-over' of the region, prisoners work-share to cut down rising costs of keeping them in jail, and corporations cut costs by taking away safety-features on their products. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. TofuDog-nation's national animal is the Rubber Duck, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the Benny.
