The Community of Toddnia is a massive, safe nation, ruled by William L Todd with a fair hand, and renowned for its keen interest in outer space. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 3.602 billion are free to do what they want with their own bodies, and vote for whoever they like in elections; if they go into business, however, they are regulated to within an inch of their lives.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it concentrates mainly on Education, although Social Welfare and Social Equality are secondary priorities. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Todd City. The average income tax rate is 82%, and even higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Tourism industry.

Citizens are expected to be proficient in at least five languages, the people elect the Supreme Court justices directly, prime real estate is devoted to wind farms and solar energy generators, and it is illegal for police officers to carry out searches due to strict privacy laws. Crime is totally unknown. Toddnia's national animal is the mockingbird, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the dolla.

Toddnia is ranked 1,205th in Europeia and 94,216th in the world for Shortest Average Lifespan, scoring -25 on the Bus Surprisal Index.
